HEATERS FOR EXTRUSION PROCESS AND BLOW MOULDING MACHINES: RELY ON THE EXPERTS

MDR Marca offers its customers a wide range of heaters for extrusion process and of heaters for blow moulding machines.

The blow molding process is used to produce hollow bodies and consists in the dilatation of a portion of a cylindrical form resin by a jet of under pressure air, until when it adhere to the walls of a mold.
To produce cylindrical objects the step of blow molding is preceded by a step of extrusion to achieve the hose with the molding, using heaters for extrusion process. The blow molding process of plastic is also used to produce the shells of certain types of helmet.

A widely used method to obtain polyethylene films is the blown film extrusion. It consists in passing the polymer, heated by the extruder by means of heaters for extrusion process, through a die circular horizontal placed. The film obtained is cooled and passed through a calender towing terminating the system.
It also included air to increase the volume of the system, inflating what looks very much like a balloon. This is the process used to produce the shrink film used to produce packaging in the food industry and packaging.

On the other hand, the pultrusion is a continuous process that allows producing plastic profiles reinforced by fibers, such as carbon fiber and glass fiber.
